When two competing companies – Markem and Image – were acquired by the Dover Corporation, they wanted to bring them together to create a global leader in marking and coding hardware and software. This was no easy task because each company had a distinct identity that they wanted to maintain.
Working together with Markem, Image, and Dover, phase one was a complete brand cultural realignment to build consensus via global meetings and workshops. Phase two was to create a carefully crafted brand identity, brand story, and complete brand standards. Once these brand building blocks were in place, phase three was to develop a comprehensive literature system, advertising campaign, and informative website.
When the American company, Markem, and the French company, Imaje, came together to become the worldwide leader in product identification solutions, this global brand anthem video set the tone and commitment of the new enterprise. This video was produced with strategic partners Catalyst, Inc., and Astor Place Productions.
